Unhappy about money?
Are you sure that it’s about the money?

If you are unhappy or stressed in the area of Money – I guarantee that if you delve a little deeper, you’ll find that it’s not really about the money at all.

You will probably find that your stress is about one of the following:

Fear of losing it.

Fear of not having enough in the future.

Fear of not being able to sustain your current income.

The good and bad news is that, contrary to the marketing claims, although it is true that too little money can cause unhappiness, there is scant evidence to suggest that more money will make you happier.

Simply put, all you need for happiness is an amount to put a roof over your head and provide three square meals a day.

This shouldn’t in any way diminish your desire to accumulate wealth. However, it does suggest that if you are unhappy, money probably isn’t the root of the problem.

So – If money doesn’t bring you happiness, what does? And, if you can be happy on so little, why are you so stressed about it and the possibility of losing it or not having enough?

The problem is partly due to social conditioning and expectations - Accumulating money is seen as good. Losing money is seen as bad. And partly due to security and desire. “Where is the next shilling coming from?” “I want to have more…”

You may know that true success comes from riding above all this and being focused not on accumulating money but on developing your ability to be happy with who you are and what you’ve got right now.

However achieving this state of mind and having trust that there will always be enough in the future is difficult; but only because your mind makes it so.

In learning and applying the skills from Meon Mind Skills, you will slowly but surely find an easier mentality to accept and deal with money – Which, not surprisingly, will put you in the best position to attract more.

Are you sabotaging your relationship?

Most of us are allured by the notion that effortless relationships exist and we would all like to believe that our most intimate relationships are unconditional.

The problem is that in the same package as relationships are loads not so useful subconcious programs that can drive up your expectations to unrealistic levels, fire up inappropriate sexual desire or destroy your self-image and self-confidence around others.

And regretfully for many, such as Tiger Woods, these subconcious programs, can lead to disasterous results.

Applying Meon Mind Skills will help you to do a number of important things, such as:

Work on your own head
Stuff is going on for you, your partner, your family and everyone else in your life and very often we find ourselves criticising our nearest and dearest for not meeting our needs.

Unfortunately, this rarely succeeds in securing any real change, so the only option you have left, to make real progress, is to focus on your own head and worry much less about everyone else.

Accept your current situation.
You may want people or things to be different – But they never are, until they are. Continually developing your ability to accept, rather than demanding change, will significantly help in building the bonds of great relationships.

Develop Rapport. A most useful NLP technique that we cover with Meon Mind Skills is that of developing rapport with yourself and whomever you are communicating with. This significantly enhances the chances of a rich and healthy relationship to flourish.

Positively influence your relationships
Being more accepting does not mean you shouldn’t aim to influence and change things and there are some great skills and techniques that significantly enhance your ability to understand where other people are coming from and therefore help you meet both yours and their desires.

If you want to know more about how Meon Mind Skills can help you build your relationships, whilst maintaining a successful life, please leave your details to the right and we will send you our free set of email detailing exactly how they can help.

How to deal with poor health…

If you are in pain or suffering a debilitating disease, life probably feels a bit grim and you may well be finding it difficult to pick yourself up, even though you know that having a positive attitude will give you your best chance.

Learning Mind Skills will not necessarily make you better; it will however help you transform your way of thinking about your pain and illness to give you acceptance and the best chance of healing and success.

By learning and applying effective Mind Skills, you will begin to:

Feel the difference between physical and emotional pain.
.

Stop resisting your illness and therefore take one source of pain out of the equation.
.

Accept your current health and circumstances, putting yourself in the best state of mind to make the most of your life and create the best environment for healing.

If you leave your details to the right, we will let you know how these skills can help you achieve this.

Getting over loss

Losing someone or something is very painful and after a significant loss, you may experience all kinds of difficult and surprising emotions, such as shock, anger, and guilt.

You may associate grief with the loss of a loved one, but any loss can cause grief, including bankruptcy, a divorce, loss of a job or friendship or loss of health.

While the feelings you go through at these times can be frightening and overwhelming, they are normal reactions to loss. Accepting them as part of the process and allowing yourself to feel what you feel is the first step towards recovery.

Not surprisingly, you may feel guilt or anger, even if the event was completely out of your control.

“Could I have done something to prevent the situation?”
“What if……”
“If only…….”

And it’s only after time that you may come round to acceptance of what’s happened and be able to move on with your life, without the emotional burden, once more.

The skills we train at Meon Mind Skills, will help you experience, accept and recover from loss, even when the horizon looks grim.

If you leave us your details to the right, we will send you a series of emails as to how you can start applying these skills right now.

“Fun & Personal. A Great Experience
. & Highly Effective…”

Joining us in our beautiful Hampshire valley on our three day training course will give you the psychological tools to manage your past, live in your present and effectively develop your future.

The course is highly experiential. A combination of:

Training sessions to learn the techniques.

Practice sessions to embed the skills.

Practical activities to give you time and space to take it all in.

An extensive follow-up to help you integrate the skills back home.

It is this mix that makes the the training so effective.

We are based at Meon Springs Yurt Village and, as a course member, you are invited to stay in one of the, very comfortable, luxury yurts.

Our next course is three days -

Tuesday 14th – Thursday 16th September 2010.

DAY 1 - Dealing with the past
On the first day, we introduce the course by looking at Common Mind Traps and how to avoid them.

You will then learn a couple of highly effective skills that will challenge your misperceptions, change your experience and help you discard your limiting beliefs. Use these on a regular basis and your life will, bit by bit, transform.

DAY 2 - Living in the present
On the second day, we focus on skills that keep you present. These skills really help you be content with every minute of life, regardless of what is happening.

DAY 3 – Developing a great future
On final day, we look at ways in which you can develop a great future. You will learn about outcome thinking, effective goal setting and how to achieve those goals without stress.

The Experience
The course is practical and experiential, with the main purpose being for you to go away with a useful set of skills that you can apply in your life to make step by step changes, improving your outlook all the time.

So – although you’ll spend some time in the training room, much of it will be practising the techniques.

And as well as learning and practising, there will be time set aside for you to experience practical activities that are related to the course, such as Fly Fishing for relaxation, Walking in the countryside to develop presence and Archery to increase your focus.

After the course, we keep in close contact with you, encouraging you to apply the skills to your everyday life until they become subconcious friends that you are using all the time.

Accommodation
If you are joining the course, we highly recommend you stay in one of our luxury yurts at Meon Springs Yurt Village.

Only guests attending the course will be staying and by doing so, you will significantly increase your experience by being able to share your experiences with others, over the campfire or in “The Yurtery” throughout the week.

The Benefits
At the end of the week, you will have a toolbox of skills that will enable you:

Change your perspectives and free your mind from limiting beliefs.

Release painful emotions.

Live a life – right now.

Develop a great future, achieving what you really want.

“It’s the combination of training sessions, one to ones, activities and down-time that make this week so special.”

“It gives you long term life skill benefits that might otherwise take years of hard discipline and commitment to achieve.”

“The rest and relaxation, with outdoor activities such as walking, fishing and archery, give you the time and space to reboot your system and refresh your soul.”

“The follow-up after the course really embeds the learning once you get back home.”

The Cost:

The cost for the three days training, excluding accommodation, is just £195.

The cost of staying in a yurt from Monday night to Thursday night with us is £120. That’s just £30 per night.

The cost of hiring your exclusive yurt for you and your friends is just £320.

So – putting it all together, to join us for three days of training, covering skills to clear up your past, live your present and develop your future. And to stay in a luxury yurt, in which you can chill out and take time to De-Bug and Re-Boot your system. And to enjoy a week in the country, partaking in country activities such as fly-fishing, walking and archery Will cost just £315 for the four nights accommodation and three days training.

These skills clear your mind allowing success
and happiness to move in…

.

Your mind is run by a small amount of concious thinking and a huge amount of sub-concious programming. That is why, when certain things happen, you react in an automatic way without even thinking about it.

Drawing from a range of different psychological disciplines, we work by helping you get beneath your concious thinking to reprogram the stressful and hindering beliefs in your subconcious and develop more useful perspectives.

Cognitive skills that question your thoughts and play around with your ways of thinking to develop new outlooks and perspectives on life.

Energy psychology skills such as Emotional Freedom Technique, that work with the mind and body to release deep seated negative emotions and pain.

Mindfulness skills to help you stay present and focused in the moment.

Neuro linguistic skills that help you focus on the outcomes that you want and to use the most useful language and thought patterns to achieve them.

Our approach is different…

Although you may have read books or been on courses, the chances are that they have focused on getting stuff out there – such as more money, a good relationship and a better life. The Meon Mind Skills approach is entirely different by focusing on changing your internal world first.

So how can that change anything in my outer life?

Imagine in your day to day life:

You automatically assess whether the thoughts you are thinking are really true and useful for you or not.
.

You subconciously play around and test new perspectives and different ways of living.
.

You start influencing yourself and others in ways that you have never previously considered.
.

You start using skills that help free yourself from painful emotions and physical pain that have been in your system for years.
.

You live each moment as it is meant to be lived. Enjoying what you are doing, when you are doing it and satisfied with what you are achieving.

Do you not think that if you were doing these things as a matter of habit in your day to day life things might be a little different?

To find out how these few simple skills can significantly change your life. Please leave your details below.

Is seeking success making you crazy?

So many of the rich and famous appear to live completely crazy lives, in spite of having just about everything this world can give them.

The underlying problem is that the more they have, the more complicated their lives can become. In fact, it has been proven that once you have enough money to feed your family and put a roof over your head, extra wealth doesn’t lead to more contentment or happiness.

So, if achieving money doesn’t equal real happiness, what does?

Can you be successful without messing up your life?

Is it possible to succeed without sacrificing yourself and your relationships?

Can you enjoy life, regardless of whether things are going your way or not?

There are a small minority of people on this planet, who are truly successful. They perceive the world differently. They take life in their stride and enjoy the ups and downs of the journey. They rarely worry, and if they do, they have skills and methods to get them out of that way of thinking. They have a different mind-set, which, even if they are not at the pinnicle of outer success it allows them to feel real success for themselves.

When you are in the company of these people, you will know them because they emanate a different kind of presence. They may be not necessarily be extroverted but they will be a joy to be with and will uplift those in their company. They have clear and flexible minds. They are relaxed and in the flow of things. They truly have their very own Personal Success.

All of this real success is a result of useful beliefs and programs in their sub-concious minds and by applying the range of Meon Mind Skills, you will quickly lead yourself to develop this kind of subconcious belief pattern and enjoy the real success, that seems to elude most people – particularly the rich and famous.

In our series of free emails, we outline exactly what these skills are and how you can apply them and If you join us on a course, you will learn how to fully integrate them into your life. Please leave your details below:

How effective is your Goal Setting?

If you’ve read the Law of Attraction or other such similar books, you may have a set of goals as below:

Make lots money.

Find a perfect partner.

Build a great business.

Have lots of children…….

This can be useful, however; when it’s not all going to plan – How do you feel?

Guilty because you feel that you weren’t doing it properly.

Frustrated because you have wasted your time.

Angry because the reality you imagined is just not happening.

The disappointment and depression that ensues when the million dollar goal or the beautiful relationship that you visualised does not appear can be soul destroying and heart-breaking.

Now – I’m not for one minute suggesting that goal setting is bad. What I am suggesting is that in order to have fun and really achieve with goal setting, you need to first of all be happy with the way things are.

At Meon Mind Skills, our three day program deals

- Firstly with the past
- Then with the present
- And only then addressing the development of your great future.

With this in mind, goal setting and life achievements become a great deal of fun and the game of life becomes a joy.

The diagram below is adapted from Brian Mayne’s Goal Mapping book to illustrate what we mean.

As you can see – the main goal is:

“Gratitude and acceptance of exactly what is, right now”.

Now, you may well be saying - ”How can I possibly be grateful for what is going on in my life right now – So and so is an “alskdfj” and such and such is making me miserable.”

Stop
And for just one minute, say something like:

- “So and so – I’m really greatful that you’ve been a complete “alskdfj” to me. It’s really made me appreciate……”

How did that feel?

If you can appreciate what is, you will stay present and stay focused, which is the best starting point from which to develop your great future.
